FAQ

Questions, answered briefly.

Does it work offline?+

Yes. Your history never leaves your Mac — the only thing that needs the network is Apple's App Store, for the subscription itself.

Is there a free version?+

Yes. DittoClip keeps your last 20 clips free, with no time limit — enough to live with it for a while. The subscription unlocks the full searchable history; nothing is deleted while you're on the free plan, so everything is there the moment you subscribe.

Does it paste for me?+

If you grant the optional Accessibility permission, ⏎ pastes the clip straight into the app you're using. Without it, ⏎ puts the clip on your clipboard and you press ⌘V. Your call, and you can change it any time in Settings.

Are passwords saved?+

No — items marked confidential by password managers are skipped.

Where is my data?+

In a local database on your Mac. It is never uploaded.

How do I cancel?+

App Store → Subscriptions, anytime.
